Artistically designed urns
The first urn I designed was for my grandmother.
During this time, the desire arose to understand farewell not only as a formal act, but as something personal that does justice to the individuality of a person.
Based on this experience, I began to artistically design urns - as unique pieces that combine color, tranquility and dignity.
Each urn is handmade using my fluid art technique.
In this process, liquefied acrylic paints flow over each other in several layers, creating unique color worlds.
The design can be based on specific color tones, mood or character traits and is individually tailored.
Individual urns under the new regulations in Rhineland-Palatinate
In light of the new legal possibilities for cremation in Rhineland-Palatinate, I offer individually designed urns as unique works of art.
This offer is aimed at relatives who desire a personal form of farewell, as well as funeral homes that wish to offer their customers special arrangements.
So far, several urns have been created in my studio, including some for my grandmother, as well as in collaboration with regional funeral companies.
The examples shown here provide an insight into possible color schemes and design directions.
