The eye as a mirror between worlds
In the Iris series, I explore the depth and uniqueness of the human gaze. Each iris is a distinctive pattern – like a cosmic imprint of the self.
These works are not portraits in the classical sense. They show no faces – and yet one encounters in them a counterpart: one's own inner self.
Each drop of paint creates a visual field that oscillates between emotion and structure.
Sometimes delicate and translucent, sometimes intense and luminous - every iris tells of memory, presence and possibility.
Iris connects the personal with the universal. It is a glimpse into a world that lies both deep within and far beyond.
Iris Aurea
The golden iris – a glimpse into the innermost self, into the light, into the living.
This work is part of my Iris series, in which I understand the eye not only as an organ of sight, but as a gateway to the soul, to the essence of a being.
Iris Aurea stands for clarity, strength, and the radiance that comes from within.
The warm gold tones, surrounded by a dancing cosmos of color, suggest vitality and a deep, luminous presence.
Perhaps it is the vision of a new morning.
Perhaps the eye of the earth – or your own.

Iris Praesentis
A moment of perfect presence – as if time stood still for a breath.
Iris praesentis is a monumental iris, reflecting the clarity of the moment. Turquoise and aqua tones swirl in vibrant motion around a bright, almost meditative center. From there, fine lines radiate outwards, like nerve pathways, like impulses – as if the work itself were breathing.
Splashes of color and dynamic textures lend the image a vibrant liveliness that combines with the still central element to create a harmonious tension. Despite its size, Iris praesentis remains open, light, and expansive.
This work invites us to pause – it acts like a gateway into our existence, into the present moment.

Iris Aurora
This triptych glows with vibrant green and a delicate, rosy center – like the first rays of morning rising over the horizon. Iris Aurora represents the moment of awakening, the pulse of new life, and the magic of beginnings.
The dynamic splashes and layers of color symbolize energy, movement, and the chaos from which beauty arises. The center – calm yet vibrant – invites contemplation, while the surrounding area acts like a dance of light.
Each image in the Iris series is a glimpse inside – into an eye, a cell, a universe.
And Iris Aurora is the first breath of the day in this world.

Irisa blue
An intense look into the center – bright, powerful, multifaceted.
Irisa Blue is part of my Iris series: abstract portraits of inner worlds, inspired by the uniqueness of the human iris. In this work, vibrant orange tones meet deep blue and golden lines reminiscent of fine cracks or energetic connections.
Like a gateway to another space, the iris-like form draws the eye both inwards and outwards. The center appears open and permeable – a place where energy and stillness meet.

Irisa rouge
An impulse. A crack. A connection.
Irisa Rouge draws the eye to the center of a powerful tension – between fire and earth, structure and chaos. The luminous red lines traverse the iris-like center like pulsating veins, as if revealing a hidden network.
In contrast, the cool, rough surface inside is permeated with movement and depth. The center is surrounded by warm, organic layers of color that appear like sedimented time.
This work is part of my Iris series: an artistic look into what makes us who we are at our core – multifaceted, vibrant, individual.

Irisi
Reduction to the essentials.
A circle. A center. A point of stillness.
Irisi is an iris that is entirely dedicated to tranquility. In finely nuanced darkness, dense layers revolve around a bright, structured center – like a subtle contrast that nevertheless holds everything together.
The center appears almost as if formed from light, while the surrounding area pulsates in a play of dark colors. Small shades of blue and gray flash by, embedded in an almost cosmic depth.
This work invites you to approach the quiet radiance – and to feel the whole in its simplicity.
