Unmei no Ne (運命の根 - The Root of Destiny)

In this work, bamboo no longer appears as a solitary plant, but as the centerpiece of a larger cycle. The strong, deeply rooted trunk occupies the space with a resolute presence – and yet, hidden from view, the next beginning is already taking place. Young shoots burst forth from the ground, as if to defy transience, to offer a gentle smile in the face of decay.

 This work is like a sister piece to "Kodoku Nuné"—and at the same time tells a new story: one of hope, transmission, and the natural flow of time. The title "Unmei no Ne"—"The Root of Destiny"—refers to that inner connection between origin and future, to what remains and what continues to grow.
