In the gaze of the dragon - recognizing oneself

 

There is more than ferocity in the gaze of a dragon - it brings clarity, inner strength and ancient knowledge.

The works in my Dragon Eye series are inspired by the symbolic power of this mythical creature and by the mindfulness, discipline, and presence that are also alive in martial arts.

 

The formal language is powerful and direct – an expression of inner movement, grounding and connection.

The dragon is not outside of us.

He lives within us—as courage, as instinct, as consciousness. His eye is a mirror. Whoever encounters him encounters himself.
