Akagane no hibana (赤金の火花 – Copper Sparks)

“Akagane no hibana” captures the idea of a bamboo forest as it might exist in another reality.

The metallically shining trunks appear old, wise, almost full of experience—as if nature had reinvented itself in a utopian autumn. In contrast, the dark, clearly set leaves give the work structure and depth.

Despite its density, the composition remains permeable, almost floating—as if memory were intertwining with light. The copper radiates a collected, timeless presence—not youthfully fresh, but luminous with inner maturity.

Hand-painted original with colored ink on heavy, high-quality paper.
