 The idea for this series came about while I was painting my grandmother's urn with my pouring technique.
 These canvases represent personal memories of relatives and friends who are no longer here.
 The first picture in the Memorias series hangs in my home and is made of the same colors that I used to paint my grandmother's urn. It is an absolute heart piece that continues to connect me with my grandmother.
 Since urns can no longer be seen by our eyes after their burial, a memorias picture gives us, the bereaved, a lasting memory. A last beautiful bond to the person who has left us.
