Iris praesentis
This artwork is part of my Iris series and consists of 4 individual canvases, each measuring 80x80cm.
The harmonious and circular color patterns are intended to direct the viewer's focus to pause and give their thoughts the impetus to connect with our present. Away from our thoughts racing through the past in a permanent loop or in a permanent waiting position, with a view to future situations and the possible occurrences there.
The aim is to direct and focus personal sensory impressions and perceptions on the here and now.
Created with the help of many abstract images from my series "Golden Window".
Set of 4 pictures each: 80x80cm
Total size at least: 160x160cm

The Iris pictures are the recyclers in my art.
What would otherwise be “lost” as excess paint during the manufacturing process is used here to create a new work of art.
Every drop of paint is recycled, nothing is wasted!
This creates unusual color combinations that are only influenced by the colors I used in previous abstract paintings.
Due to the manufacturing process, they are always large square canvases with sides measuring 100 centimeters or more.
And since you need a lot of abstract images for such an iris painting before it is finished, it takes many months to produce.
The final touch is the pupil. Each one is unique and unusual!
