Asahi (朝日 – morning sun)

“Asahi” – morning sun – shows the moment when the day awakens.


 The golden ink rests on the paper like warm light, illuminating the bamboo with a quiet power. The lines are clear, the forms open, as if the bamboo were reaching toward the first rays of sunlight.


 There is depth in the apparent simplicity: the work dispenses with effects to give space entirely to color, light, and inner balance. It is an invitation to mindfulness, to reflection on the essential—on that which shines without being loud.
