This work is dedicated to an elf from Mirkwood, from The Lord of the Rings, by JRR Tolien. He is a fairly young elf, born in the Third Age.

Together with the companions of the Ringbearer, he accompanies the Fellowship of the Ring and survives thanks to his youthful recklessness, but also thanks to his impressive skill with bow and arrow. A dwarf from the people of Erebor becomes his best friend during this time, and an absolutely extraordinary friendship develops.

Together they sailed west to Valinor in the year 120 in the Fourth Age.

This picture is not purely in green tones, as one might assume it would look like for a forest elf.

Because of this elf's longing for the sea, which was triggered by the cry of a seagull, as predicted by Galadriel, shades of the sea and the forest have been used.

The magenta-colored influences represent his youthful nature, which seemed very likeable to me! I would have loved to meet him! ;-)

(Anyone familiar with the literature of Middle Earth, by JRR Tolkien, will probably recognize which Elvish person this is exactly. Due to existing criticisms of this work by others and all other possible consequences that naming him by name could entail, I have deliberately refrained from doing so. I hope you will forgive me.)
