Lumo Neoca
This work is dedicated to one of the most powerful Valar. His power controls everything that has to do with water, not only the seas, lakes and rivers, but also the rain, mist and dew followed his commands.
Before the building of Valinor, he was the closest friend of the King of the Valar. He is the closest to Lumos' power.
He lived in the depths of the Outer Ocean and rarely came to Valinor.
Lumo was a loner, without a companion, with a restless character.
He was the only Valar who, despite the Eldar's banishment, did not forget them and continued to send them messages. Unfortunately, to his chagrin, the Eldar no longer understood the messages he sent.
My artwork is meant to reflect Lumos' love for the sea and the power he used to have over it. The red is meant to represent his power over the water.
(Anyone familiar with the literature of Middle Earth in relation to the Valar by JRR Tolkien will probably recognize which Elvish person this is exactly. Due to existing criticisms of other people about this work and all other possible consequences that naming him by name could entail, I have deliberately refrained from doing so. I hope you will forgive me.)
